Nicholas DeGruccio is an acting coach, actor and an award-winning director and choreographer. He directed the Los Angeles premieres of The Last Five Years, Side Show, The Laramie Project, Caught, Dog Sees God, Thrill Me, The Story of My Life, Zanna Don't and The Spitfire Grill. His regional premieres include: Next to Normal, In the Heights, Rent, Putting It Together and First Date. Nicholas is a four-time recipient of the Los Angeles Ovation Award for his work on 1776, Jekyll & Hyde, The Laramie Project and Kiss of the Spider Woman. He has worked at many theatres, including Theatre Under the Stars, South Coast Repertory, Pasadena Playhouse, Orlando Shakespeare, La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, the Laguna Playhouse, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts and the Colony Theatre.
