Victoria Lavan enjoys a rich and accomplished career as a singer, actor, director, award-winning teacher and vocologist. Some of Victoria's collaborations include: the Sundance Institute with San Francisco Opera Adler Fellowship Program; Salt Lake Opera Theatre, Opera Unplugged, Albuquerque Chamber Orchestra, New West Symphony, Ventura Music Festival - Bach B Minor Mass, soprano soloist, Grammy Award winning conductor, Vance George; Jesus Christ Superstarwith Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson; Love Letters with her late husband, Bruce Liberty, Rubicon Theatre Co.; Glitter and Be Gay: A Tribute to Barbara Cook, El Portal Theatre and regional tour; The Tango Singer, Theatre West; Swan Lake the Musical, Sold Out concert in Los Angeles and directing Ernest Worthing and Hobson's Choiceby noted composer, John Biggs.
Victoria is a Charter Voting Member of the Pan American Vocology Association, the Voice Foundation and the National Association of Teachers of Singing. In addition to being a member of NATS, she has served as the past president of NATS-LA, Regional Governor for Southern California, received the Teacher Enrichment Grant Award in 2013 and serves on various committees continuing research on science-informed vocal pedagogy resources. Victoria is engaged in advanced study for Estill Certification as a Master Trainer and the practice of vocology, the habituation of the voice using traditional methods intertwined with current voice science findings and vocal health practices. She is also a Certified Registered Yoga Trainer and teaches vinyasa flow and restorative yoga for singers.
