As an actor, Mr. Corcoran appeared on television in Law&Order, Third Watch, Pan Am, The Sopranos, and The Good Wife. He spent four years as Officer Tom Conklin on the CBS daytime drama, The Guiding Light. He has appeared in over 25 New York stage productions including Miss Lonely Hearts, South of No North, Bible Burlesque and Francis Ford Coppola's The Conversation. Numerous National Tours and regional performances. 30 National Television and Print commercials, extensive Voice-Actor work including the voice of Spiderman for Marvel Comics.
Mr. Corcoran has directed for Primary Stages, Naked Angels, SOHO Rep, Chelsea Lab and Ensemble Studio Theater. He served for 20 years as Artistic Director for the award-winning 29th Street Rep. producing over 75 main stage productions. Received a Drama Desk nomination for Killer Joe with Scott Glenn, Amanda Plummer, Michelle Williams and Michael Shannon. Three plays Mr. Corcoran directed were honored and taped for the Lincoln Center History of Theater Archives.
