David Licht has been a professional actor for over 3 decades. Recent New York appearances include The Clearing (as Solomon Winter) at 59E59 Theaters and The Crucible (as Danforth) at The ArcLight Theatre. Other New York stage credits include Playwrights Horizons, The Midtown International Theatre Festival, New Dramatists, The Beckett, The Clurman, Intar, Kings County Shakespeare Company, and The Metropolitan Playhouse. Regional credits include Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Barter Theatre and North Shore Music Theatre. His TV credits include "The Path" (Hulu), "Boardwalk Empire" (HBO), "Onion SportsDome" (Comedy Central), "Men's Thanksgiving" (Funny or Die), and all the New York daytime dramas. He has also appeared extensively in both print and TV commercials. As moderator of the AMDA Film Series, David hopes to instill in his students an appreciation and respect for the artists who create film.
