AMDA Faculty since: 2015

Tami Petty teaches on the faculties of AMDA-NY, CUNY Brooklyn College, William Paterson University, and Ramapo College. She has been singing on the Music Team of Central Synagogue in New York City since 2007. She is the winner of the 2014 Joy in Singing Prize.

Having worked with esteemed artists in the fields of classical and Broadway music, she counts herself fortunate to be able to help emerging artists on the paths of fulfilling their dreams. Additional prizes have been awarded from the Sorel Foundation, the American Prize, the Richard Tucker Foundation, the Lotte Lehmann Foundation, Chautauqua Opera Guild, the Lotte Lenya Competition, and the Merola Opera Program.
