Barami is an accomplished saxophonist, composer and educator. He performs regularly in the New York , playing reggae, r&b and jazz. Barami leads his own groups, performing Brazilian jazz, original music and standards from the American songbook. He brings his experience and knowledge of many genres of music as well as a love of improvisation and harmony to the classroom to create a unique experience for students. Barami teaches saxophone at Adelphi University and Ear Training/Sight Singing courses at both Columbia University and AMDA.
