Karine Newborn is a dancer, choreographer, singer, actor and instructor. Karine has performed in many shows, including Cats (Paris, France) and Aida (Broadway), and in films like South Pacific and Do You Want to Dance. She most recently choreographed for Perry Farrell's new solo album and was a backup singer/dancer on the tour. She choreographed numerous shows and industrials and was the associate choreographer on and performed in the musical Golden Boy (Long Wharf Theater). Karine has taught many styles of dance for over 40 years. She specializes in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary Ballet, Contemporary Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Heels, floor barre, alignment, technique, style and stage performance. She was part of the convention L.A. DanceForce. She is also a judge for the FWDM World Dance Movement international virtual competition.
