Acting
AMDA Faculty since: 2019
I remember the moment I saw improv live for the first time at the University of Virginia (the group was called The Whethermen): I was hooked. I have been following the fun and "yes, anding" since that moment, and it has led me to Chicago (house team Meridian at iO, Second City Conservatory) and now New York. I earned my MFA from The New School for Drama and have been working and teaching since. I performed a play written by one of my heroes, Lewis Black (Harper, One Slight Hitch), I have done Shakespeare under the summer night sky (King Lear and Romeo and Juliet with Commonwealth Shakespeare), and traveled to other countries to share my art (Dorothy Lyman's Enemy and Soft Landing in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico). I am thrilled to bring my love of acting to AMDA. Always follow the fun!
