Originally from Williamsburg, Virginia, Emily began performing professionally at Busch Gardens Williamsburg before attending The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where she performed works by William Forsythe, Monique Haley, Sidra Bell, and Al Blackstone among others. She then attended Broadway Dance Center's Summer Professional Semester in New York City. Emily received her B.F.A. in Jazz Dance Performance with a Minor in Musical Theater. She made her Broadway debut in CATS playing the role of Cassandra and most recently was seen in the new musical, Fly, from the creators of Hamilton. She has toured with Flashdance: the Musical and Bullets Over Broadway. Emily is thrilled to continue passing on her love and knowledge of dance to the next generation as part of the dance faculty at AMDA in NYC and as an adjudicator and convention teacher for Beyond the Stars Dance Competition.
