Alison Mixon is a professional dancer/singer/actor, teaching artist, and commercial/print model in New York City. She has performed for dance, musical theater, opera, and entertainment companies nationwide, such as: Paramount Pictures, The Metropolitan Opera, Los Angeles Opera, and Sacramento Music Circus. In addition to performing, Alison works as commercial/print model and has appeared in campaigns for: Amazon, eBay, Hermès, New Balance, JustWorks, and CityRow GO. Alison enjoys sharing her love of dance with students of all ages. Her teaching credits include: The Ailey School, The Ailey Extension, Broadway Dance Center, The Joffrey Ballet School, Mark Morris Dance Center, and Brooklyn Ballet, where she was recently appointed as Assistant Director. Alison is thrilled to be joining the faculty of AMDA and looks forward to dancing with you!
