Spanish-born screenwriter and filmmaker Duane Dell'Amico has worked in a variety of positions on documentary and fiction film crews in the U.S., Germany, Hawaii, and Jamaica, including cinematography for Greenpeace campaigns in Peru and the islands of the Eastern Tropical Pacific. Dell'Amico got his first professional screenwriting commission in 1990, and since then has written in a variety of genres for Lightstorm Entertainment, Stonebridge, Propaganda Films, Touchstone and 20th Century-Fox, written animation for adults (Urban Vision) and for children (TKO Toons), and been commissioned to write features for directors Neal Jimenez, Malcolm McLaren, Michael Steinberg and Peter Care. His produced work includes indie features SLEEP WITH ME and SHOOTING LILY, Nikkatsu Studios' war epic RAKUYU (THE SETTING SUN) starring Diane Lane and Donald Sutherland, and the Japanese anime TWILIGHT OF THE DARK MASTER. Duane also directed three episodes for the FORGOTTEN JONES webseries financed by Werner Films. He is a Sundance Screenwriters Lab alumnus and a member of the WGA.
