Acting for Camera
AMDA Faculty since: 2024
Dana H. Glazer is an award-winning filmmaker who lives in New Jersey. He began making movies at nine-years-old, shooting claymation films on Super-8 in his basement with his grandfather. He 'graduated' to live action films as a teenager and discovered how much he loves working with actors. Dana's adventures in filmmaking led him to NYU's graduate film program, where he made a Student Academy Award winning short and then began writing screenplays for Hollywood, selling one of them to Warner Brothers and getting another produced by the Syfy Channel. When Dana's first child was born, he shifted gears into dad mode and made a documentary about the experience, which earned him an invitation to screen the film at the White House. Recently, Dana directed his first narrative feature film, which is now on most streaming services. Dana is very excited to be working with students at AMDA!
