AMDA STATEMENT ON THE ATTACK IN ISRAEL

Dear AMDA Community,

AMDA unequivocally - and emphatically - condemns the attack on innocent civilians in Israel by Hamas and condemns all forms of anti-semitism. 

AMDA stands with all human beings who suffer violence.

Our AMDA community is one composed of a diversity of people and thoughts. We encourage everyone in our community to educate themselves, build community and use open dialogue.

We understand that this ongoing conflict may have an impact on us as students, alumni, faculty, staff and as people. We want to remind you that you have support here in your AMDA community.

We stand in solidarity with those in our community who have family and friends who may be in danger at this moment. 

Let us all continue to treat one another with kindness and compassion, as we always do. 

And let us all remember that although it seems small during times like this, what we do each and every day – create art – is what can bring about change for the good in this world. It always has and always will serve this purpose.
