AMDA placed #4 on Niche’s list of 2024 Best Colleges for Performing Arts in America. The ranking and review site combines data from the U.S. Department of Education with student and graduate reviews to create their lists. The site compares schools across the U.S., grading them on areas such as academics, faculty, diversity, and location.

AMDA got high marks for academics, diversity, location and student life. These areas reflect our focus for over 50 years. We provide a multidisciplinary approach to training for the performing arts, taught by a world-class faculty of working artists. Our curriculum takes full advantage of our campus locations in the country’s two cultural centers—New York City and Los Angeles.
