School Nurse
The School Nurse for the Los Angeles campus will provide preventative health services, health promotion and education, consultation for general medical conditions, first aid and emergency care, and physician referral guidance for our students.

Athletic Performance
Our Athletic Performance team provides injury consultation, injury prevention, and performance enhancement services. Our mission is to empower students to become active participants in their wellbeing and support a vibrant, healthy and engaged campus community.

Community Health
The Community Health team remains committed to the health and safety of our campus community. This team works to develop, implement, evaluate and manage a variety of multifaceted health promotion initiatives and processes for the campus community based in theory- and evidenced-informed practice of college health promotion.

- Advance community health and well-being – work to embed well-being into the fabric of the AMDA community.
- Campus capacity building – develop and maintain relationships with campus partners and consult on campus initiatives that center well-being.
- Disseminate health information to the campus community – develop, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate interactive educational events.
Mental Health Counseling
AMDA LA offers free, confidential counseling services to help meet the emotional and psychological needs of our students. Our goal is to create a campus environment that facilitates the health and well-being of all of our students and advances our academic and performance mission. Our counselors can also provide referrals to community resources as needed. Appointments are required.

Vocal Health Resource Center
AMDA's Vocal Health Resource Center provides students with information and guidelines on the care and use of the professional performance voice. By promoting current best practices in the field of voice and vocal health, students are empowered to make informed decisions about their voice use while training for a professional performance career.
