Like the many amazing offices here at AMDA, the Office of Student Success is designed to address the holistic needs of our students.
Each AMDA student is assigned a Student Success Advisor who will provide guidance and support in exploring campus resources, connecting to services, preparing for a career, looking for a sense of belonging, and so much more. We can't wait to see what we can do for you!

The Student Success Advisors are available to provide you with support for any and all academic and/or non-academic concerns. Some of the areas our office can support you in are:
Adjusting to a new learning environment can be tough. We work with each student to find ways they can utilize their time best for each assignment.
Provide a substantive advising appointment for each student. This is an open-ended discussion to allow students to explore their goals, interests, and concerns.
We recognize that each student comes from a unique and diverse background when entering the AMDA community. Our mission is to provide students with the necessary tools in order to obtain their best self.
Understanding that peers may disagree with one another and offering the skills on how to navigate these situations.
To provide positive and targeted intervention on the student’s behalf, to maintain successful course participation.
Make referrals to NY campus resources, programs, and support systems that promote academic success and career development.
